Passing of Emanuel Nunes Da Silva
I found out, through contact with Elder Felix (Marivaldo Felix Da Cruz) that another companion of mine, also from Goiania, Elder Silva (Emanuel Nunes Da Silva) passed away in 2002 from lung cancer. He left a wife and a son. He is also survived by 21 brothers and sisters. He was the Stake President of his stake in Goiania at the time of his passing.

I served with Elder Silva in Sao Bernardo Ala III from roughly June 1991 to July 1991. He opened the city of Registro to missionary work. He was a great example and had a great sense of humor. I regret that I will never see him again in this life, yet rejoice that I will see him again in the next.
