Welcome to the Mission Areas page. The purpose of this page
is to provide information about past and present stakes, districts, wards, and branches.
Each area page is designed to allow you to contribute news, photos, and additional
information. There are many areas not yet listed. Should you find an area not listed,
please post the information in the Website and Feedback Forum
or send an email to our webmaster.
There are several options on the left to access a particular area. Below is an explanation
of each link and what information you can find on that page.
Current and Former Cities in the Mission
This page provides a listing of the cities that are currently in the mission or have been in the
mission. You can use this page to select the city and then get detailed information such as
pictures, history, areas that are in the city, and missionaries that served in the city.
Current and Former Stakes in the Mission
This page provides a listing of the stakes that are currently in the mission or have been in the
mission. You can use this page to select the stake and then get detailed information such as
pictures, history, areas that are in the stake, and maps.
Current and Former Areas
This page provides a listing of the wards and branches that are currently in the mission or have been in the
mission. You can use this page to select the area and then get detailed information such as
pictures, history, missionaries that served in the area, registered Brazilian members that
live in the area, and maps.
Other Areas and Missions
Since the inception of the mission, some areas have been created that did not below to a
specific ward or branch. An example of one of these areas in the Mission Office. Additionally,
many missionaries were required to wait for visas at times. Hence, these links help provide
additional information on where some missionaries may have served.
