Welcome to the information section of the Brazil São Paulo
South Mission. The purpose of this section is to provide information about the mission,
Brazil, links to sites, announcements, news, and sections for new missionaries and their
parents.
Here is an overview of the information sections on the mission website. Links to these
sections can be found on the left of this text or in the drop-down menus in the green
bar above.
Mission News
The purpose of this section is to provide a source of news including news about the mission, the
Church in Brazil, other Brazilian news, mission reunions, website news, and so forth. Registred
users that are logged in can contribute news stories as well and discussions can be held on news
stories.
Mission Announcements
The purpose of this section is to provide a source of announcements including engagements, weddings,
birth of children, and so forth. Registered users that are logged in can contribute announcements
including appropriate pictures and discussions can be held on these announcements.
Mission History
The Mission History section provides information on when the mission was created, missions that
have been created from the Brazil São Paulo South Mission, and the current state of the mission.
Mission Addresses
The Mission Addresses section provides all of the mailing addresses for the mission including the MTC
in Provo, the MTC in São Paulo, the mission office, and addresses for postal mail (mission office, post office
box, and the pouch system).
Mission Reunions
This section provides maps, information, and directions to Mission Reunions. As soon as the information is
sent to the web team, it is posted on the website. Hence, if you don't see it here, we don't know about it
or it isn't happening. If you know of a mission reunion, please submit the information so it can be added
to the mission website.
For New Missionaries
This section is designed to answer common questions from recently called missionaries and help provide an
initial baseline of information. If you don't find your answer in this section, feel free to use the
New Missionaries forum and get your questions answered.
For Parents
This section is much like the section for New Missionaries, but it provides information more inline with
common questions from parents of missionaries. If you don't find your answer in this section, feel free
to use the Parents forum and get your questions answered.
About Brazil
This section is aimed at recently called missionaries and parents of missionaries looking to find more
information on Brazil, politics, economics, and so forth. If you feel information needs to be added or
changed, please feel free to let us know.
Cities in the Mission
This section provides a quick link to find missionaries that have been or are in the mission now. You
can select the city from a list and then get details such as pictures, history, missionaries that have
served there, areas that are now in the city (if the city is still in the mission), and so forth.
Links of Interest
This section provides links to other websites that may be of interest. These links include the other
Brazilian Mission websites, the LDS Mission Network, embassies, history sites, and so forth. If you feel
a link should be added or removed, please let us know.
